STARFALL ACADEMY is a four-day, live action roleplaying event which allows players the opportunity to fuse real-world martial arts training with exciting storytelling and creative exploration. Beginning as initiates of the GUARDIAN ORDER, players will explore the mysteries of “THE LIGHT,” a powerful energy that bends to those strong enough to control it.

Learning alongside experienced masters from throughout the galaxy, students will be taught to wield The Light and grasp its influence on the world around them. From these powerful sages, players will gain a greater knowledge of everything from healing arts and saber skills to meditation and command over local flora and fauna. With each lesson learned, new mysteries will reveal themselves – both at the Academy and far beyond.

How much are Year Two (2023) Tickets?

YEAR TWO tickets exist in two separate categories and begin at the following prices:

  • RETURNING PLAYERS ($750): Players returning to Starfall Academy, having already participated in Year One.
  • NEW PLAYERS ($800): Players new to the Starfall Academy experience, or former players who wish to return as an entirely new character.

WHY THE PRICE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN TICKETS? New Player pricing includes an exclusive Starfall Academy SABER, which will be provided to players in-game and may be kept after the event. Saber units are actually more than the price discrepancy, but the difference helps to offset costs for the event. For safety reasons, players must utilize a Starfall Academy saber at the event and cannot bring one from home.

WHY THE PRICE INCREASE FROM LAST YEAR? Returning players will notice a $25 increase in ticket price, with a $75 increase for new players from last year. While much of this is meant to help offset rising costs due to inflation, additional funds will also be used to hire additional staff members to increase player care and support before, during, and after the event.

What is — and is not — included in the ticket price?

Ticket price for Starfall Academy includes:

  • A unique Starfall Academy student character for the four-day event
  • Single-occupant student housing for three nights (Thursday, Friday, Saturday)
  • Catered meals, drinks, and snacks all four days (Dinner Thursday through Lunch Sunday)
  • All necessary props and classroom supplies for use at the event
  • Shuttle service to and from Bradley International Airport (requires reservation; Thursday morning and Sunday afternoon only)
  • * Exclusive Starfall Academy student t-shirt in appropriate sect colors
  • * Exclusive Starfall Academy sect pin for returning players
  • * Full access to professional photographer, including portrait shots and candid photos (digital downloads at no additional fee)
  • ** Functioning saber for their character (Given in-game)

Event fees help to pay for location rental, professionally-prepared meals, set construction, creature creation and puppeteering, professional story development, on-site medic, staff supervision, and much more.

Ticket price does NOT include character costume or travel to the event.

Are payment plans available?

Quest Adventure Gaming offers two ways to pay: Pay-in-Full and Payment Plans.

Pay-in-Full allows players to pay their entire ticket price at the time of registration.

Payment Plan option requires an initial $250 payment to serve as a non-refundable deposit. The remainder of payments may be paid at times and increments of the player’s choice by selecting the “Additional Payments” booking option on this website. Full payment must be received by JUNE 1 or the player will forfeit their place at the event and their deposit.

What is the refund policy should I need to cancel?

Players may be issued full refunds — minus $250 non-refundable deposits — until 60 days prior to the player’s event. 50% (or non-refundable deposit, whichever is greater) refund is offered thereafter, with no refund available within two weeks of the event.
